1. Who We Are

SAGE By Azraq ("SAGE," "we," "us") is a brand identity, digital strategy, and growth marketing studio with offices in Dubai, UAE and Bangalore, India. We operate sagebyazraq.com and the Podcast by SAGE service. This policy covers both. For any privacy request, write to hq@sagebyazraq.com.

2. Information We Collect

Information you give us through booking, contact, or WhatsApp forms:

  • Name
  • Email address
  • Phone number
  • Company name (optional)
  • Podcast topic or project description
  • Preferred session date (optional)

Information collected automatically when you browse the site: IP address, user agent, device type, referring URL, pages visited, time on page, and click identifiers used for advertising attribution (GCLID for Google Ads, FBCLID / fbp / fbc for Meta).

We do not collect payment information on this website. Payments are handled through separate invoicing.

3. Cookies, Pixels, and Local Storage

We use the following technologies:

  • Google Analytics 4 (Measurement ID G-N68XRGKN86) uses cookies to measure page views, session duration, and events.
  • Google Ads conversion and remarketing tags set cookies to attribute conversions and show relevant ads.
  • Meta (Facebook) Pixel loads only after you grant consent. It sets the _fbp cookie and sends events (PageView, ViewContent, Lead, Contact) to Meta so that ads can be measured and optimized.
  • Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights collect anonymous performance and Core Web Vitals data.
  • Local storage: we store your consent choice under the key sage_consent, and a captured Google click identifier (GCLID) for up to 90 days under the key sage_gclid so we can attribute the lead to the correct ad campaign on submit.

You can opt out of Google Analytics using the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on, and you can clear browser storage at any time from your browser settings.

4. How We Use Your Information

  • Respond to booking and contact requests
  • Schedule, confirm, and remind you about studio sessions
  • Send project updates and transactional email
  • Measure website performance and debug issues
  • Attribute, measure, and optimize advertising campaigns on Google Ads and Meta
  • Comply with our legal and tax obligations

We do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Advertising and Conversion Tracking

We run paid campaigns on Google Ads and Meta (Facebook / Instagram). To measure which campaigns actually produce leads, we use a combination of browser pixels and server-to-server conversion APIs:

  • Meta Pixel + Meta Conversions API. When you submit a lead form, our server sends a Lead event to Meta via the Conversions API. The event carries a hashed (SHA-256) version of your email and phone number, your IP address, and your user agent, so Meta can match the lead back to the ad click. A shared event ID is used to dedupe the server event against the browser Pixel event so each lead is counted once.
  • Google Ads Enhanced Conversions. When a Google click identifier (GCLID) is present, our server sends the conversion to Google Ads with a hashed (SHA-256) email and phone number to improve match quality. If no GCLID is present, no upload is performed.

Hashing means we do not send your raw email or phone to these platforms. Hashed values are still personal data under GDPR, and they are used solely for conversion matching, not for any purpose outside the ad platform's standard tooling.

6. Consent

Non-essential tracking (Meta Pixel, Google Ads remarketing, analytics beyond what is needed to run the site) only runs after you grant consent through the consent banner. Your choice is stored locally under sage_consent. You can change or withdraw consent at any time by clearing site storage in your browser, which re-prompts the banner on your next visit.

7. Sharing With Third Parties

We share data with service providers that help us operate the site and the business. Each provider has its own privacy policy:

  • Vercel (website hosting, analytics, speed insights)
  • Neon (managed Postgres database where leads are stored)
  • Resend (transactional email delivery)
  • Google (Analytics, Ads, Workspace email)
  • Meta (Pixel and Conversions API for Facebook and Instagram advertising)
  • WhatsApp (when you choose to contact us through the WhatsApp button)

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of SAGE, our clients, or the public.

8. International Data Transfers

SAGE operates from the UAE and India. Our hosting and advertising partners (Vercel, Google, Meta, Resend, Neon) process data in the United States and the European Union. Where required, transfers rely on Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent safeguards offered by each provider.

9. Data Retention

  • Lead and contact form submissions: retained for up to 36 months after the last interaction, then deleted or anonymized.
  • Email correspondence: retained for up to 36 months.
  • GCLID stored in your browser: up to 90 days, matching Google's own attribution window.
  • Google Analytics event data: Google-managed, currently retained for 14 months.
  • Meta event data: Meta-managed per its own retention policy.
  • Invoices and tax records: retained as long as local tax law requires.

10. Your Rights

Depending on where you live (UAE PDPL, EU/UK GDPR, California CCPA/CPRA, India DPDP Act), you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Delete your personal data
  • Restrict or object to certain processing
  • Receive a portable copy of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority

To exercise any of these rights, email hq@sagebyazraq.com. We respond within 30 days.

11. Data Deletion Requests

To request deletion of your personal data, email hq@sagebyazraq.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request" and include the email address or phone number you used with us. Within 30 days we will:

  • Delete or anonymize your record in our lead database (Neon)
  • Remove you from our email and WhatsApp contact lists
  • Submit a data deletion request to Meta via the Conversions API to remove associated events
  • Submit a user data deletion request to Google Ads for conversion records tied to your identifiers
  • Confirm completion by email

Records we are legally required to keep (invoices, tax records, fraud prevention) will be retained until their statutory period expires and then deleted.

12. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended for adults and for businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has submitted personal data to us, email hq@sagebyazraq.com and we will delete it.

13. Security

We use HTTPS across the site, scoped API keys, hashed transmission of email and phone numbers to advertising platforms, and managed infrastructure (Vercel, Neon) with industry-standard controls. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, but we apply reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your data.

14. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our services, partners, or obligations change. The "Last updated" date at the top always reflects the current version. Material changes will be highlighted on the site or communicated by email to active clients.
